  2. Yes thanks for that I could have gone on with a much longer list. I still think the list shown sums it up well. Which side are you on, boys?

  3. I'm voting No to AVMay 01, 2011 11:39 pm

I wasn't entirely convinced before but with Dear Unite saying Yes and the RMT, GMB and UNITE saying No then i'll definitely voting No.

Dearunite always on the wrong side for the wrong reasons.

  4. It's interesting that John McD is in a minority of the Labour Left in supporting AV.

It's also interesting that dearunite doesn't list Clegg as one of the supporters. Embarrassment?

  5. Interesting that Respect, Jerry Hicks's party, is also calling for a no vote - http://www.voterespect.org/2011/03/against-alternative-vote-yes-to-pr.html

And Jerry isn't listed on either side in the posting. Does that mean that dearunite forgot to put him on the list just under Cameron?

  6. I think that confirms that this site is not run/owned/controlled or financed by any political party or other organisation doesn't it? Unlike some sites I could mention.

  7. Rather than concentrating on who will be voting a particular way would it not be better to focus on their reasons?

  8. Am I being cynical in observing that the majority of Labour MPs are opposed to AV whilst they are happy to have a disprortionate influence on the election of the Labour Party leader using a very similar system?
